2018: Kreislauf - Cycle (36 min)

Cycle_SantaCruz
"I believe that Kreislauf - Cycle is one of my most important films. It is the culmination of years of thoughts on filmic language, painting an abstract but engaging portrait of civilization and decay. To me, this film is one of my grand achievements that I had wanted to create for years. Its completion closes an important chapter to me - the development of a musical filmic language that tells stories only through motion and quick impressions. Editing took a long time - many shots last literally only a fraction of a second - and I never before felt such an euphoric feeling as after I completed this film." (Alexander Tuschinski, 2017)

With Nora Czapek, Björn Grimm, Jennifer Pakosch

"Alexander Tuschinski in "Gold." narrates the constant story of the exploits just with images and music like a story in a song with a very original personal way that makes me think of the diaries of the historians. His original and personal style make us honor Gold with The Golden Pelican."
